Naturals clients are companies and organizations of all sizes, from one-man enterprises to multinational organizations within private, public and non-profit sectors. Here follows a few cases we´ve been through. Business development A stock-listed real estate concern had a high degree of vacancy and the market went down. To meet competition and future expected higher demands from tenants, a development program was set up for the sales organization and service staff with the purpose of increasing occupancy rate and reduce the number of lost clients. Interviews with some of the most important clients and coworkers formed a basis for top management briefing and as preparation for a workshop. At two occasions, with an intermediate working period, all staff participated in a Natural Effect process including communication & behaviour, work tasks, goal setting, problem solving, customer care, service, sales training, success factors and action plans with "homework" to practise and present. They managed the crisis and are a healthy company today. A Swedish mechanical manufacturing company operating on a global market had a well functional business, however the intensive market growth put a lot of pressure on the organization. We designed a development program for the executive group of 5 persons to increase the leading group´s effectiveness. A number of measureable factors was identified. A survey among the employees formed a basis for a Natural Effect process including behaviour profile analysis and a series of workshops related to natural leadership, effective goal setting and communication. The participants were given tasks in real working situations, the outcomes to be reported to our consultants. Individual and group action plans was worked out and we acted as personal mentors during the implentation of these. The company has managed the market growth very well. Today, they are operating in 100+ countries on six continents. An interest group stated that there was commercial and productional prerquisities for starting a mineral water company, but lacked financial means for the startup and for compiling an investment prospect. Naturals mission was to secure an investment level of minimum SEK 2M, organize the company and manage it. Natural developed a business plan and an investment prospect. It was presented at a number of meeting with private and public investors, which secured a succesful financing beyond all expectations. The capital stock reached almost SEK 4M and the company started. Tourism development A travel agency in mid Sweden had serious problems with a decreasing market demand. Naturals mission was to develop a strategy that secured the companys future. After analyzing the situation and the market, Natural worked out a new business plan and restructured the traditional travel agency to an incoming tour operator and destination management company. In other words, they went from sending locals abroad to recieving guests from other countries. Based upon the business plan, the company was re-financed. Natural assisted in development of a number of new products and services and established a market communication system form branding and relationship marketing. A municipality aimed to research the possibilities for developing a unique of culture tourism, based on a fascinating history related to the region. Natural performed a qualititive pre-study where 5 international experts were interviewed, a market research and analysis, and finally the economic outcomes for society was elucidated in three scenarios, would they develop the culture tourism. The study showed that such a tourism development would generate approximately SEK 30M yearly to the region and potentially become the largest employer in the municipality. They are now working on the financing of the project. An indian tribe in Suriname aimed to develop a sustainable eco tourism operation. Natural assisted as coaches and mentors as well as education for a network of stakeholders. This lead to the establishment of a wilderness lodge in the rainforest with educated guides, tour packages for small groups and information material to increase knowledge of its history, culture and nature. Read more by cklicking the link below: Business Training Expeditions The executive group at a centrally located company within a famous international corporation consisted of 14 members of different nationalities. The group handled daily decisions concerning investments and production issues for six-figured amounts in SEK. The nature of their work, however, required that all of them was travelling a lot and, as a result, they seldom met in person. This had a negative impact on the executive groups´ decision-making and cooperating ability, which caused the company costs. Naturals mission was to create a better communication and understanding between the members to strenghten their problem-solving ability and the decision power of the group. Natural staged a Business Training Expedition, unbeknown to the group, shaped as a "rescue mission" for the "kidnapped" secretary. The group was divided in two teams, competing with each other to find "the poor victim". They had to solve and handle a number of problems and situations to find her. The rescure mission started at the companys office i southern Sweden and the secretery was happily rescued on a remote island, farthest out in the Stockholm archipelago, after two days of inspirational chasing where the participant needed to cooperate, practice leadership, challenge their fears and use their abilities in many different situations. Featuring in the debriefing were topics like communication, roles, self image, group dynamics, problem solving, goal setting, trust and feedback. The executive group got a considerably closer cooperation, an understanding of each others differencies and how these can be used positively, which strenghtened the groups problem solving ability and a better decision making process. This mission was later followed by similar one in France. |
